TSC Act 2012 Article 237 requires all qualified Teachers to be registered by the commission before they can teach in any private or Public institutions.

A teacher who has met all the requirements is issued a certificate of registration with the TSC number within 30 days.

Requirements for New TSC Teacher registration in Kenya :

All applications are made online via the Teachers’ online portal

Applicant should scan and upload the following documents:

  1. Academic and professional certificates (Certified copies)
  2. National identity card
  3. Bank slip
  4. One passport-size photo
  5. Your KRA pin Certificate 
  6. GP69 form
  7. Good conduct Certificate 
  8. For non-Kenyans, Entry & work permits are required

Applications fees for New TSC teacher Registration Ksh 1050

For duplicate certificate application fees is Ksh 2050
